Organic Calendula Tincture made with 100 proof triple distilled vodka at a 1:5 ratio. Our Calendula is grown on the Hoot'n Nanny Holler Farmstead in South East Tennessee and harvested at it's peak. I infuse the flowers and leaves in the vodka to create the tincture.
Take 15-30 drops, 1-3 times per day. Can be taken alone or or added to water, tea or juice.
Comes in a 1 or 2 oz amber bottle. The 2 oz bottle comes with a dropper cap and the one oz bottle has a simple screw on top (no dropper).

The majority of my herbs are grown or wild crafted from my own organic sustainable gardens, but if I don't have it, I outsource it from other local and organic sources whenever possible. Medicinal uses of Calendula:
From anti-inflammatory to anti-microbial, calendula contains many substances with beneficial properties. The oils are used today in many modern medicines that treat many conditions. These include acne, controlling bleeding, ear infections, ulcers, and skin inflammations. Many ancient cultures recognized the benefits of calendula and used it within many herbal remedies. Ancient Greek and Indian cultures used lightly crushed and moist handfuls of the flowers to apply to small wounds and sores on the skin. The antibacterial properties helped to prevent infection and provided a soothing effect. You can also treat abdominal pains and cramps with calendula.
